Ha! Nice title.
After thinking in great length about the importance of self-worth and happiness (most notably after having a baby....and feeling a little squidgy around the edges) I've decided that there is really no use in trying to have the body you once did or should I say, no use pining over it.
I had Caleb 8 months ago and am still ALL THE WRONG SHAPE. I weigh 10 lbs less than I did pre-pregnancy but, the shape is a little rounder and a little ...."BULGIER" (probably just made that word up).
By looking in the mirror and saying, 'well, this is it body...you and me for the rest of all time' you will be taking the first step in the right direction. Mother earth has not failed you - that's impossible...she's a flawless system. Your body is yours no one Else's so, get to know all of the stretch marks and make the scars and cellulite your friend because....well, in the end you'll likely regret it if you don't.
I'm willing to bet that you'll feel sexier once you do this too - your husband (partner) will probably thank you for making friends with your new body. Your sex life - it'll be sexier and your social life - social...er!
I hope anyone reading this feels better already.
When ever you are beginning to doubt this friendship you've recently forged with your new BOD remember, Mother Nature's system is flawless....so, your body must be too!
(P.S - the next step is throwing away magazines which depict women as flawless, flat stomached, bombshells ....it's not normal and frankly, I'd rather some meat on my bones).
